About Our Office

Selling a privately held business can be an emotional process. We appreciate this. We aim to make the process of selling your business as comfortable and as realistic as possible.

VR Aspen’s office is located at 400 West Main Street, in Aspen’s historic West End. Our office is in a building that was once a prominent Aspen family home, built in 1910. We have comfortable areas for confidential consultations, for meeting preparation, and for getting-to-know sessions between sellers and buyers.

We have a due diligence room for accountants and financial advisors to review tax returns, P&Ls, balance sheets, and other confidential information in a private setting.

We have an executive suite with an eight-panel workstation that is used for buyer and seller communication and for financial analysis.  John Hornblower, VR Aspen’s managing broker, used this workstation to trade convertible bonds with institutional investors when John previously managed Hornblower Trading LLC.

We also have a private rear entrance to the VR Aspen office.  This entrance is used by sellers of highly visible businesses where absolute confidentiality is a must.
